Book Review – Making the Best of Basics by James Talmage Stevens

A couple of weeks ago, I purchased and read the latest edition (11th) of the book Making the Best of Basics: Family Preparedness Handbook by James Talmage Stevens so I thought I would give a review of this book for you guys. This book is the best selling prepper book ever, and with good reason. It is chock full of information that you need.

The first edition of this book came out in 1974 and was well written then. Now in it’s 11th edition, it has 250 more pages than before.

The book is a steal at $34.95. It comes with online access to a very good 90 minute video from Jim Phillips and, if you order during the holidays, your copy of the book will be personally autographed by James Talmage Stevens!

I could not endorse this book any stronger. Do yourself a favor and purchase this book.
